Neil "Old Skool" Wain is an English professional mixed martial artist.

He stands 5 ft. 10 in. (178 cm) tall and weighs approximately 242 lbs. (110 kg.) and currently fights as a heavyweight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Early Career

Neil Wain made his professional mixed martial arts debut on November 4, 2006 as a part of the British, Ultimate Force promotion. He defeated Yann Marqueze via KO in the first round.

He won his next three bouts over Rhys Iles, Colin Sexton, and Victor Aniolek via first round (T)KO in British based promotions.

UFC Career

Due to the impressive start of his career, Wain received a call-up to UFC.

His debut was meant to be against Antoni Hardonk at UFC 85 but he had to pull out of the bout due to injury and was replaced with Eddie Sanchez.

Wain eventually made his UFC debut against heavyweight juggernaut, Shane Carwin at UFC 89: Bisping vs. Leben. Wain was completely outmatched by Carwin and was TKO'd just over a minute into round 1.
