Pre-Event Notes

The fight card was originally meant to be headlined by a lightweight fight between Joe Lauzon and former UFC title challenger, Hermes Franca. Jeremy Stephens was brought in after Franca pulled out with a knee injury.

Amir Sadollah was also meant to face Nick Catone in a match that had been rescheduled from UFC 91. That bout and this one were called off after Sadollah had to pull out with an injury. Sadollah was replaced by Derek Downey.

Jake Rosholt was meant to make his UFC debut against Italian, Alessio Sakara but Dan Miller was brought in as a last minute replacement after Sakara pulled out with injury. This is the 2nd time in as many fights that Miller has shown up as a last minute replacement.

George Sotiropoulos had to pull out of his fight with Matt Grice due to injury and was replaced with UFC virgin, Matt Veach.
