Early Career

Rage in the Cage - 26 on March 24, 2001 was the backdrop for Brazilian Jiu-jitsu black belt Tim Credeur's (born July 9, 1977) professional debut. After securing a first round Armbar on his opponent Kevin Denz, Credeur's career seemed to be off to a good start. However, in Tim's second match he was forced to submit to the strikes of a then 4-2 journeyman Joey Villasenor.

A mere two weeks after losing to Villasenor, "Crazy" Tim Creduer was back in competition, defeating his opponent, Bone Sayavonga, by administering a KO in just 0:13. A submission over James Pokluda came next, followed by back to back Armbar wins against Lance Everson and Liam McCarty.

The victory over McCarty marked Credeur's return to the sport after a two-year hiatus. Next Credeur added a win over Edward Maxwell bringing his streak to five. "Crazy" Tim's next outing did not end so well, with Credeur dropping a TKO to Chael Sonnen.

Tim staged a comeback which featured a threesome of submission wins. First an Armbar on Josh Lawrence, then a Triangle Choke win over Brandon McDowell, and finally yet another Armbar victory, this one scored on Chris Gates.

TUF and the UFC

A 9-2 standout who had never seen a decision Tim Credeur was brought onto The Ultimate Fighter in its seventh season. However, as with all the contestants that season Credeur had to battle his way into the house. In a decisive victory Tim defeated Erik Charles by Armbar, cementing himself as a top prospect on the show.

Once in the house Tim fought Matt Riddle, winning the constant, though not without cheating. Multiple times during the match Credeur was shown engaging in small-joint manipulation, which is expressly forbidden by the rules of the UFC. However, since the referee did not notice the infractions Credeur was awarded the victory, with Riddle tapping out to, you guessed it, an armbar.

The quaterfinals of the tourney saw Tim pit against Dan Cramer, defeating Cramer by Heel Hook in the first round. "Crazy" Tim later dropped a decision to legendary moron Jesse Taylor, losing the tournament in the semi-finals. Credeur was brought back to the show for a final bout versus CB Dolloway when Taylor was disqualified from the competition. The three round affair ended in a decision victory for Dolloway.

At the season's finale Credeur was supposed to face fellow cast member, Cale Yarborough, but Credeur admitted to use of the prescription drug Adderall, and the fight was rescheduled. The match later took place at UFC Fight Night 14, resulting in a TKO win for "Crazy" Tim.

Credeur is currently set to face UFC newcomer Nate Loughran on December, 10, 2008.
