Background
The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale was an 8-bout fight card that was held on November 11, 2006 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The card aired live on Spike TV at 9pm ET/PT and was headlined by TUF 4's welterweight tournament final between Matt Serra and Chris Lytle.
The final of TUF 4's middleweight tournament between Travis Lutter and Patrick Cote served as the evening's co-main event.

Pre-Event Notes
A light heavyweight bout between TUF 3 winner, Michael Bisping and Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt, Eric Schafer was originally set to headline this card but visa problems for Bisping caused the post-ponement of this bout.
The new main event of TUF 4 finalists, Matt Serra and Chris Lytle made this the first TUF Finale in the show's history to be headlined by castmembers of that season.
