Background
The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights (aka The Ultimate Fighter 10 or TUF 10) is the tenth season of the reality TV show, "The Ultimate Fighter". It premiered on Spike TV on September 16, 2009 at the conclusion of UFC Fight Night 19.
The show featured 16 heavyweight (265 lbs.) mixed martial artists. The two teams were coached by former UFC light heavyweight champions, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Rashad Evans.
The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale will be broadcast live on Spike TV on December 5, 2009 and will feature the heavyweight final and a yet-to-be named bout as its main event.
