Scott "Punk Haole" Junk (born December 17, 1978) is an American professional mixed martial artist training out of Team MMAD.

He stands 6 ft. 1 in. (185 cm) tall and fights in the heavyweight division at approximately 265 lbs..

Junk is a UFC veteran and currently competes as a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights.

"Punk Haole" roughly translates to "White Punk".

Early Career and UFC Debut

Scott Junk made his professional mixed martial arts debut on May 7, 2005 for the Hawaii based, Rumble on the Rock promotion. He had the daunting task of facing former UFC heavyweight champion, Ricco Rodriguez in his debut and was submitted with a front choke shortly into the second round.

Junk would return to action the following year as he picked up his first victory with a quick TKO of Vilatonu Fonokalaifi.

Five straight victories followed for Junk with only one bout lasting the distance. Amongst those victories was a TKO over journeyman, Jimmy Ambriz in June, 2007.

UFC Debut

In September, 2007, Junk stepped in on short notice for Justin McCully at UFC 76 against American Kickboxing Academy's Christian Wellisch. Junk landed some bombs early but was clearly outclassed on the ground and was painfully submitted with a heel hook in the first round.

The loss resulted in over a year break from the sport with Junk eventually returning in February, 2009 at an Hawaii based, X-1 event. He fought to a three round draw with Hawaiian, Lolohea Mahe.

The Ultimate Fighter

Midway through 2009 it was announced that Junk had been picked up as one of 16 heavyweight contestants on the 10th season of The Ultimate Fighter, The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights.
