Sengoku
Muhammed Lawal made his professional mixed martial arts debut as a late replacement for Roger Gracie at World Victory Road's, Sengoku: Fifth Battle on September 28, 2008. He faced the vastly more experienced, Travis Wiuff and made an immediate impact when he entered the ring in a crown and robe while flanked with some scantly clad Japanese women. He made an immediate impage inside the ring as well, as he rocked Wiuff with a superman punch and then landed a double leg takedown which he followed with some fight ending punches.
Just over a month later, "King Mo" returned to the Sengoku ring at Sengoku: Sixth Battle, where he scored a third round TKO victory over Brazilian, Fabio Silva.
On January 4, 2009, Lawal picked up his third TKO in as many fights as he stopped Japanese fighter, Yukiya Naito at Sengoku: No Ran 2009 at the 3:54 mark of round 1.
Lawal's next fight will come against light heavyweight King of Pancrase, Ryo Kawamura at Sengoku: Seventh Battle on March 20, 2009.
