Mostapha Al Turk (born July 14, 1973) is a British professional mixed martial artist and 2005 ADCC European Champion.

He stands 6 ft. 2 in. tall and fights in the heavyweight division at approximately 245 lbs..

He was the Cage Rage heavyweight champion before vacating the title to accept a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

MMA Debut and Cage Rage

Mostapha Al Turk made his professional mixed martial arts debut at an Xtreme Fighting Championship (XFC) event on March 3, 2002. He faced Mike Ward, who defeated Al Turk via TKO at the one minute mark of round 1.

Things did not go any better in his next professional bout either, at XFC 2 when he was defeated by Kassim Annan via armbar in the first round.

Starting his career with an ugly looking 0-2, Al Turk entered the British based Cage Rage organization.

Al Turk picked up his first professional victory when he defeated Fereidoun Maghizadeh at Cage Rage 9 via TKO 2.25 into round 1.

Al Turk took 2005 off before returning to Cage Rage in 2006 where he picked up two victories over Martin Thompson and PRIDE veteran, Henry Miller, both by TKO.

At Cage Rage 20, Mostapha had the biggest bout of his career when he faced former UFC tournament champion and MMA powerhouse, Mark Kerr. Al Turk scored the upset when Kerr submitted to punches 2.29 into round 1.

His euphoria was short lived though as he was brought back to earth in his next bout when he was unaimously decisioned by Tengiz Tedoradze at Cage Rage 23.

Bouncing back from his third professional loss, Al Turk made Gary Turner submit to punches at Cage Rage 25 before securing the Cage Rage heavyweight title at Cage Rage 27 when he defeated James McSweeney via TKO at 2.06 of round 1.
