Mark "The Meat Missile" Miller (born November 22, 1979) is an American professional mixed martial artist and former IFL welterweight title challenger.

He stands 5 ft. 9 in. (175 cm) tall and fights in the welterweight division (170 lbs.).

Miller is currently a welterweight contestant on The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom.

Early Career and IFL

Mark Miller made his professional mixed martial arts debut for the Reality Super Fighting organization on January 26, 2002. He submitted his opponent, Ahron Davis, with an armbar in the first round.

Miller fought once a year for the next three years, as he picked up two victories and a loss on the smaller circuit. That first loss of his career came against Francisco Soares via unanimous decision at a Freestyle Fighting Challenge event in January of 2005.

Miller responded from the loss by forcing Reiner Hernandez to submit to strikes at an event held in Costa Rica in May of 2006.

He followed that victory with two first round submission wins over John Shoemaker and Amir Khillah. Miller finished off 2006 with a TKO loss to David Hagan in the Kentucky Fighting Challenge.

In February of 2007, Miller made his debut for the International Fight League. Miller faced Delson Heleno and went down via unanimous decision after three, four minute rounds.

Miller got his first IFL victory just under two months later when he scored a unanimous decision for himself over the very tough Brad Blackburn.

Miller had the biggest test of his career to date a little over a month later when he faced the tough and scrappy UFC veteran, Josh Neer. Miller pulled off the upset as he knocked Neer out cold with a punch just 54 seconds into the fight.

The win resulted in a shot at Jay Hieron's IFL welterweight title just under a year later. Miller was dominated by the UFC veteran getting overwhelmed at the 2:10 mark of round 1.

Following the IFL's demise, Miller returned to the smaller shows taking a fight against Mike Pierce at a SportFight event in September of 2008. Miller suffered his second loss in as many fights as he was stopped 1:38 into the second round.

The Ultimate Fighter

Miller was chosen as a welterweight contestant for the ninth season of The Ultimate Fighter, The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom in late 2008/early 2009. He earned his spot in the house in episode 2 when he stopped his friend and training partner, Kevin Knabjian with punches at 1:59 of round 2.

Miller faced Nick Osipczak in the first welterweight quarter-final in episode 4. Miller had his moments in the bout but was caught with a huge head kick in the second round that knocked him down and out.
