Profile

Lodune "The Vanilla Gorilla" Sincaid is an American professional mixed martial artist.

He stands 5 ft 9in (175cm) and weighs approximately 205lbs (93kg).

He is a veteran from The Ultimate Fighter Season 1 and is a former World Extreme Cagefighting light heavyweight champion. Sincaid's last fight was for the Palace Fighting Championships.

The Ultimate Fighter

Sincaid began his professional mixed martial arts career in the Reality Submission Fighting organisation on January 5, 2001 defeating Jason Miller (not Mayhem) at 3.46 of round 1 via keylock submission.

Sincaid had 5 more fights, going undefeated, before he was chosen to be a light heavyweight contestant on the inaugural season of The Ultimate Fighter.

He has the distinction of being the first fighter in Ultimate Fighter history to be eliminated from the show as the result of losing a fight. He lost to Bobby Southworth via KO in the second round in the first preliminary fight.

On The Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale he dropped down a weight class to face Nate Quarry. He was defeated by Quarry via TKO at 3.17 of round 1.

Post-TUF MMA Career

After the Quarry fight, Sincaid was let go by the UFC management and thus relegated to smaller MMA promotions.

Since The Ultimate Fighter 1 Finale, Sincaid has gone 7-5 in a variety of promotions, fighting a number of prominent MMA figures. He has defeated the likes of Alex Schoenauer and James Irvin while losing to fighters such as Jason Miller, Doug Marshall and Cory Devela.

In May of 2006, at WEC 20, Sincaid defeated Dan Molina via rear naked choke in the first round to capture the World Extreme Cagefighting light heavyweight title.

He would lose the title to Doug Marshall via KO in his first title defense three months later at WEC 23.

Sincaid's most recent fight took place at Palace Fighting Championship 8 in May of 2008. He defeated Rafael Real via submission (guillotine choke).
