Jesse "The Ox" Lennox (born x, 1982) is an American professional mixed martial artist training out of Miletich Martial Arts.

He stands 5 ft. 9 in. (175 cm) tall and fights in the welterweight division (170 lbs.).

Lennox is an IFL and WEC veteran and currently competes as a welterweight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Early Career

Jesse Lennox made his professional mixed martial arts debut on March 8, 2006 for the EFX promotion. He defeated his opponent, Pat Kane, in his debut via TKO to notch his first professional win.

After a submission win in the Extreme Challenge promotion, Lennox rolled off four consecutive victories in 2007 which included a victory in a one-night, four-man tournament held by the Mainstream MMA promotion.

In January, 2008, Lennox submitted future UFC competitor, Ryan Thomas with an armbar in the third round at a Mainstream MMA event.

Three months later, Lennox made his debut for the International Fight League. He faced Emyr Bussade and was defeated for the first time in his career as he was submitted with a kneebar in the second round.

Lennox closed out 2008 with two submission victories over Justin Wieman and Ryan Williams.

With a record of 9-1, Lennox earned a call up to the ZUFFA controlled, World Extreme Cagefighting organization. He met Blas Avena at WEC 38 and made an immediate impact as he knocked Avena cold with a knee and punches at 41 seconds of round 2.

UFC

Following the decision by ZUFFA to fold the WEC's welterweight and middleweight divisions into the UFC, Lennox was brought over to compete in the world's premiere MMA organization. He will make his debut at UFC 101 when he faces fellow UFC newcomer, Danillo Villefort.
