Denis "The Menace" Stojnic (born February 2, 1980) is a Bosnian professional mixed martial artist training out of team Golden Glory in the Netherlands.

He stands 5 ft. 11 in. (182 cm) tall and fights in the heavyweight division at approximately 245 lbs..

Stojnic currently competes as a heavyweight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Early Career

Denis Stojnic made his professional mixed martial arts debut on May 7, 2005 for the Croatia based, Obracun Ringu promotion. He defeated his opponent, Damir Mihajlovic, by decision.

By the end of 2006, Stojnic had picked up two more victories to improve to 3-0.

He suffered his first career loss at a Blood, Sweat, and Tears event in November of 2007, losing to Jessie Gibbs via unanimous decision.

Stojnic rebounded from the loss with a knockout victory of Goce Sandovski in January of 2008.

Four months later he improved to 5-1 with a decision win over Hakim Gouram.

UFC

In late 2008/early 2009, Stojnic signed a contract with the UFC. He made his UFC debut on the main card of UFC Fight Night 17 against rising heavyweight, Cain Velasquez. Stojnic proved he could take a beating as he was wailed on by Velasquez for a round and a half before the referee halted the completely one-sided bout.

Stojnic will return at UFC 99 against Stefan Struve.
