Pre-Event Notes

Ronaldo Souza and Jason Miller will fight for the vacant DREAM middleweight championship after the previous champ, Gegard Mousasi, vacated the belt in order to move up a weight class.

Hideo Tokoro was defeated by Daiki Hata at DREAM 8, but an injury to Hata forced his removal and Tokoro stepped in to replace him.

Jose Canseco will make his mixed martial arts debut against Hong Man Choi. Former UFC title challenger, Frank Trigg claimed Canseco had rung him up just a week before the event asking him to train him as he had not found anyone who would.

Results

  • Middleweight Championship Bout: Jason Miller and Ronaldo Souza fight to a No Contest (cut from an illegal kick) at 2:33 of round 1.
