Early Career

Brandon Wolff made his professional mixed martial arts debut on January 5, 2002 for the awkwardly titled Warriors of the New Millenium promotion. He faced and defeated opponent, David Santiago via TKO in the first round.

Six months later, Wolff suffered his first professional defeat when he was on the losing end of a unanimous decision to Ian Nelms at a SuperBrawl event.

Wolff bounced back from the loss with a split decision victory over Hannibal Adofo in his next bout and a unanimous decision win over Jay Carter in the bout after that.

On July 29, 2005, Wolff suffered his second defeat when he was stopped by Japanese stand out, Riki Fukuda midway through the second round of their clash.

Wolff picked up victories in his next three fights, which included a unanimous decision victory over Chad Klingensmith at EliteXC: Uprising.

In May of 2008, Wolff faced UFC veteran Chad Reiner for the X-1 welterweight title. After five gruelling rounds, Wolff was awarded the unanimous decision victory and the championship.

UFC

Nearing the end of 2008, Wolff was signed to a contract with the UFC. He was matched up against TUF 6's Ben Saunders on the undercard of UFC: Fight for the Troops. Wolff was brutalized in the clinch with vicious knees by Saunders. After 1:49 of punishment the referee stopped the fight leaving Wolff in a bloody mess.

At UFC 98 Wolff faced another knockout victim from the Fight for the Troops card in Yoshiyuki Yoshida. The bout was a quick one as Yoshida latched onto a guillotine choke which forced the tap from Wolff midway through the first round.
