Abe Wagner (born x, 1980) is an American professional mixed martial artist training out of Mid-American Martial Arts in Omaha, Nebraska.

He stands 6 ft. 4 in. (193 cm) tall and fights in the heavyweight division at approximately 265 lbs..

Wagner currently competes as a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights.

Early Career

Abe Wagner made his professional mixed martial arts debut on January 6, 2006 for the All Fighting Championships. He was victorious in his debut, defeating Matt Justice.

Just under six months later, Wagner suffered his first defeat when he met Sunia Filikitonga at a Diesel Fighting Championships event. Wagner was knocked out 11 seconds into the second round.

Wagner rebounded with two victories before losing again, this time via armbar submission to Chris Blaire at a Punch Promotions event.

After two victories to close out 2007, Wagner opened 2008 with the highest profile win of his career over UFC veteran, Sherman Pendergarst via split decision.

The Ultimate Fighter

Midway through 2009 it was announced that Wagner had caught the attention of TUF selectors and had been picked up as one of 16 heavyweight contestants on the 10th season of The Ultimate Fighter, The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights.
